Paducah Police Department Officers Are Starting New Safety Programs

As part of a new Gun Lock Safety Program, the Paducah Police Department is handing out free gun locks in partnership with Project ChildSafe and the National Shooting Sports Foundation. Officers who graduate from the academy are certified as Virginia police officers. Upon graduation, new officers will be assigned to a Field Training Officer and receive additional departmental training.
