Gun Owners of America is bringing the GOALS Convention to the heart of America, and we're going bigger than ever. Des Moines, Iowa will play host to what promises to be the most ambitious GOALS Convention yet, a landmark celebration of 50 years fighting for your Second Amendment rights. Setting personal goals can help you to gain clarity and focus. The examples of personal goals I’ll present in this article will follow the SMART framework. This year’s GOALS will be even bigger as Gun Owners of America celebrates our 50th anniversary, marking five decades of uncompromising advocacy for the Second Amendment. Turn vague goals into actionable ones by making them SMART. SMART stands for specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time-bound.
